Mrs McIntosh told us about a year 2 girl in her class who learned it off by heart.  She was called Caroline and she is about 26 now.  We wonder if she can still recite it?

We have had our class poetry recital and everyone managed to recite their poem.  The standard was incredibly high and we had such a hard job choosing 2 to go through to the team final.

Makeover Update: 12 October

So it's the last day of the holidays and the room was finished yesterday!

We have a room to use, even though it's a bit bare.  Thank goodness for the wonderful 'Cultures' presentations, which look great on the new walls.

We will need to organise a 'Working Bee' to scrub the tables and chairs!

I popped into room 13 today - it is now a white shell with 4 painters in room 12 and 13 this weekend!

It is, literally a blank canvas.
